Check in early for a chance to explore Killarney National Park before settling into your room. The staff provide great local recommendations .

Comment to question 1: Both location and rate made me choose Glena House. We were mother and son (24 year old) who stayed here. It was a comfortable and friendly B&B, short walk to Killarney center - and yet close to the countryside and the national park.

I was almost going to write a good review, but then i remembered the filthy kettle and the very uncomfortable bed with a dip in the middle. It's a shame they don't offer any upgrades or complimentary gestures for such poor quality. I can't believe how unprofessional the housekeeping staff is.

Quite a good location and on the main road. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is ok. There is free internet but it is slow and not powerful enough to receive in the room. Nice big comfortable room with tea/coffee making.

I did not enjoy my stay here at all. The room lacked comfort and privacy. The window looked out onto the side passageway of the house next door, so when I came out of the shower I had to pull the curtains so the kids in the driveway weren't watching me get dressed. This meant I had no natural light by which to get ready/do make up...on a day I was going to a blacktie awards ceremony. The bedlinen and towels were well past their 'sell by date' and I infact woke up with a rash on my body after spending the night there. At 62euro it was way overpriced.

Gotta love the tasty breakfast options! The bacon and eggs hit the spot. Plus, it's just a hop away from The Bacchus Room for a cheeky pint or bite after exploring. The friendly receptionist made checking in easy-great local tips too!

Truly enjoyed the rooms, they where a nice size with a bath. Location: the hotel was really close to Killarney National Park and different tourist place. We could drink something at The Porterhouse Gastropub, located 1 km away.

I only stayed one night but rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfeast was good and service ok as well. I would recomment it to a couple or group of people who want to travel around and see killarney . it was in walking distance to I..N.C.E. And short walk in to killarney town.
I stayed in double room but it had only 1 teacup and I spoon for making tea even though there for 2 of us staying. Small thing I know , but I like my cup of tea.

The staff were warm and cute, always ready to help. I appreciated having free parking, convenient for exploring the area. Breakfast options were quite decent, with a good variety available each morning. The room felt dated with old carpeting and some noticeable stains. The bathroom cleanliness wasn't up to par, and I noticed an unpleasant odor lingering. The noise from outside made it difficult to get a good night's sleep, especially with thin walls letting in sounds from adjacent rooms. The mattress needed replacing as it was quite uncomfortable, significantly impacting my rest.

The hotel is located near the centre of Killarneyh and one can walk within a few minutes to the shops and restaurants. I had a room at the streetside which caused some noice, but I didn't mind. It was nice to watch the passers-by. Wifi was available inside the room. It is good value for the money.

Close to Killarney Brewing Company, charming old-world decor, aesthetic outdoor spaces
Bathrooms lack a fan!!! Very poor maintenance throughout the hotel!!! Dated decor screams for a revamp!!! Noise from thin walls disrupts sleep!!! Odd smells linger in the rooms!!! Security needs serious attention!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good also. Three minute walk to the centre of Killarney and five minute walk to the INEC. Great value for money.
Checkout time was very early (11 a.m.) but the staff told us there was no rush on us and it was almost twelve before we left.
